Monika Szewczyk-Wittek is a photo editor, curator, and author of texts on photography; an initiator and coordinator of projects promoting photography, such as Wszyscy Jesteśmy Fotografami [We Are All Photographers]; was a manager of the TRWarszawa Digital Archive project; and a competition juror (for Leica Street Photo, BZ WBK Press Foto, etc.) and portfolio reviewer (for the Zachęta National Gallery of Art). She was co-curator of the exhibitions Family Album: MULTIPLE GAZES. Photographs from the Oral History Archive of the KARTA Centre and the History Meeting House and Personal Portrait. She is a lecturer on Photography and Ethics in Photography at the University of Warsaw, and the co-owner of Studio 810, a portrait studio.
